“The pain of having acne on one’s appearance is something only those who have it will get the real story behind it. Although acne is a normal hormonal reaction to puberty, I can’t seem to find a way to tell myself that this is temporary. Looking at the scars left by blemishes in the mirror, I started overlooking my whole identity and solely started to focus on the imperfections I thought I have. I felt as if Acne became who I am and started being self-conscious. This is a simple representation of what i believe my face looks like with blemish scars.
