“Lockdown drills are definitely a profoundly serious procedure that is practiced at my boarding school. However, in my eyes, those informal drills always turn into something memorable and fun. This drawing is dedicated to my first ever drill in high school. With new friends all hiding in a cramped new closet, it was definitely a very special and rare bonding moment. Instead of feeling unsafe by the amount of protection drills that we have to do, this particular drill made me feel that the future with them will be brighter than ever no matter what happens. A rare moment of youth and freedom like this occasion can only happen with the right people at the right time; this depicts the little moments where friendship becomes more powerful than ever.
