I feared that if I were to tell people my true feelings, I would be considered weak, and people would leave me because of it. This girl symbolizes my inexplicable internal feelings; someone who is trying to cut people off even though she knows is going to be all alone and suffer without the hand pulling me above water to live. Her being in water is like me being secluded in avoidance and loneliness, both drowning into the emotional darkness.
