“A facetime call where it was supposed to be a casual ramen dinner but progressed into me abandoning the main purpose of the hangout to find art inspirations (using food). This fixates on the pressure of inventing new art pieces to a point where I forget what I am doing or where I am. This was influenced by a real screenshot with my best friend from China, who woke up in the middle of the night to eat with me. Looking back at it, I realized how trying to make art 24/7 could easily make me seem insensitive and unavailable and reflects the negative impact of art towards my relationships.
